At the core is the CallFree Standard

These guidelines ensure that every certified location delivers on the promise of a quiet, respectful environment—while honoring accessibility and health needs.

All phone calls are to be taken outside designated areas. Guests are welcome to use phones silently for texting, checking information, or emergencies, but voice calls are not permitted inside certified spaces. Exceptions always apply for accessibility devices and urgent health-related use.

For venues that want to extend protection further, the optional RecordFree Certified™ Add-On restricts livestreaming, video recording, and influencer-style content creation. This safeguard protects customer privacy and prevents disruptions caused by intrusive filming.
